CONE CU 2020 Scholarship Contest Guidelines
All entries must be received by mail (postmarked by April 3, 2020), email, fax or dropped off in person by April 3, 2020 and must follow all contest rules. The following documents must be submitted as part of this application:
– Completed Entry Form
– Typed Essay
– One or two typed community involvement paragraphs
The essay and paragraph(s) on community involvement must be an original work of the applicant and should reflect subjects within the general scopes of the essay questions. The essay and paragraph(s) must be typed. The essay cannot be less than 350 words or more than 500 words in length.
Applicant must be a graduating high school senior, attending a two or four-year accredited educational institution in the fall of 2020, and an active member of CONE Credit Union.
The applicant must hold an account, in their name, at CONE Credit Union by January 31, 2020. The applicant must also obtain verification of membership date by a CONE Credit Union employee.
The Scholarship Award Committee will consist of members selected from CONE Credit Union. Winners are chosen based on the criteria outlined on the font page of this application. All decisions are final.
All entries are subject to disqualification if they do not meet the above rules and requirements. School and membership requirements will be verified before selection.
Entries must be received or postmarked by the required deadline. Entries received or postmarked after the required deadline will not be eligible for consideration.
Winners will be notified by Friday, May 1, 2020.

Community Involvement Question: What has been your most rewarding community involvement experience and why?
