It started in the office of Willie Fahrbach who was employed by the Water Department that was located at the Old City Hall clock tower. Later they moved to Canal Street and remained there until January of 1979 when they moved to the new City Hall building on Walnut Street.
George Casperson, a firefighter, played an important part of getting accounts and loans started by taking out the first loan. Currently we handle the needs of just under 1800 members and have over $30 million in assets.
Our membership is made up of these departments: Library, City Hall, Police, Fire, Water, Streets, Parks, all employees of the Neenah Joint School District, and their families.

All of our Board of Directors are members of the credit union and serve terms of three years in which they volunteer their time and typically meet every third Monday of the month. They make decisions on policies and what products and services would be beneficial to the members.
